A review is conducted on your existing accounting file, identifying areas that require correction.  We then work closely with you and your team to rectify them.

Once the data is clean reconciliations are run on the books at period end, preferably financially year end.  This date is then the conversion date.

Data and reports are extracted from the file in preparation for Xero conversion.  Your existing accounting file is backed up, and remains active until financial year end work is completed.

Once your financial data is prepared ready for conversion, we move on to setup of your new Xero file.  It is essential that this step is handled by the experts.

Proper setup of your Xero file means you’re getting off to the right start with respect to reliable financials, and ongoing efficiency.

Organisation settings are updated, the chart of accounts is customised, banking, payroll and inventory are setup, and finally invoicing and financial reporting templates arranged.

The conversion process is run in stages, with the highest priority tasks undertaken first.  Such tasks include migration of accounts receivable and payroll.

The next stage is to address banking and accounts payable.  The goal is to keep business as usual going without disruption.

Finally we run reconciliations and review the file for accuracy.   Financial reports are drafted to ensure the data is identically replicated from your previous accounting file.

On completion of the conversion process, you have a brand new Xero file clean and accurate.  Systems are ready for you and your team to be trained in Xero.

The initial focus of training is the sales function, and payroll.  Thereafter supplier management, banking and financial reporting.
